Although it’s possible to post in any specific area when you are in need of an object or service, there is also the area just for want ads that can be quite useful. This section is meant to be left quite open, so that no matter what you are trying to purchase, you can clearly state your needs. There are a few hints for writing effective want ads. If it’s services that you wish to purchase, your ad may fit more into the employment/services section. However, if it’s goods that are on the table, then you should be as descriptive as possible about what you are looking for, and make it easy for vendors to contact you. Some will choose to include a maximum price that they are willing to pay, but it might be a good idea to let the vendor make the first offer, for bargaining leverage. This is also the area of the classifieds that is most suited to those who want to conduct trades or swaps with others on the site. These negotiations are left open to those that are taking part in it, which allows a great deal of freedom within the larger category of the want ads.
